Topic: Information Governance for Information Silos

One of the many challenges for information managers is maintaining a compliant record keeping program. This challenge is complicated by the existence of information silos. In most organizations there are paper and electronic records. Paper records are generally onsite and offsite, electronic records may be in on premise systems, cloud solutions or both. There are frequently enterprise solutions and departmental solutions. If not managed properly all these information silos can lead to information chaos. In this presentation we’ll review:

 Systems of engagement versus systems of record

 Hybrid solutions

 Success stories from organizations managing information silos

Speaker: BJ Johnson VP of Archive Systems University

BJ has been with Archive Systems for over 13 years and has managed groups including record center operations, document conversion and customer care.
