These would not be on the retention schedule as they are not records. They do need to be confidentially destroyed as they are proprietary as you noted.

Subject: Old Test materials

You are receiving this e-mail as a subscriber to the Virginia Records Officer Listserv (VA-ROL). # #
If your school has old testing materials that now have new versions (Ex. KTEA http://www.pearsonclinical.com/education/products/100000777/kaufman-test-of-educational-achievement-third-edition-ktea-3.html, PALS, QRI, etc. where would they fit on the retention schedule. I assume they should be shred since they are copy written by the company that makes them. I wanted to see where others are putting or if they are just recycling. Thank you for input.
