Now is a perfect time to send a letter to Governor Warner of Virginia
stating your position on the 39% cutback in Library of Virginia funding.
Remember, this will close the Library on Monday, stop additions to the
Digital Online Library, cause the Virginia Cavalcade to cease publication,
and cut staff. If you are an "out-of-stater" like me, you might wish to
mention the amount of money you have spent in Virginia.

Just go to http://www.governor.state.va.us/Contact/email_form.html and state
your feelings.

I hope your Christmas is a wonderful and joyous occasion,
and may your new year be as bright as the
lone star that led the wise men on the first Christmas night.

Merry Christmas.
May many blessings touch you and yours this holiday season.
