Dear Va-Hist and Va-Roots Subscribers,

Today, the servers for both of our e-mail discussion lists were upgraded
for the first time in a long while, and so far as our computer experts
can tell, the process went smoothly.

That said, it would be prudent for all subscribers at some convenient
time in the near future to check the status of the settings for their
subscriptions using the Discussion Group "clicks" provided for that
purpose on the Library of Virginia's Web site. The short cut is

http://www.lva.lib.va.us/siteindex/index.htm#V

If anybody has difficulty with subscriptions, please let me know.
