I am trying to locate the ship that the widow Elizabeth Packer used
to "transport" 19 people including a Jacob DeWitt to the Virginia Colony in
1637, per Nugent's Cavaliers and Pioneers. I have done research on ships
passenger list from the 1620s to 1640s and there is no mention of Jacob
DeWitt. Would the ship have pulled into another port before stopping at
the VA Colony? I need some help on solving this. I figured that if I
found the ship and from where it sailed from, I could backtrack to find
Jacob's ancestry. Thank you in advance. Linda DeWitt Hughey
