It is possible that the map referred to is one prepared during the 1930s
during compilation of the Virginia Historic Inventory of pre-1860
structures. The maps, reports, and illustrations compiled for that project
were recently placed on the Library's of Virginia's Digital Library site.

Begin at the Library of Virginia's web site at http://www.lva.lib.va.us then
click open the Digital Library site and find the Virginia Historic Inventory
site. Do a keyword search on Cobbs

Subject: Maps at LVA Website -- Need Help

Fellow VA Researchers --

I have been told that there is a Map (#17 ?? ) including Cobbs Plantation in
Chesterfield Co at the LVA website.

I have tried without success to find it. Is there one of you who might be
able to assist me?

FYI, early patent/deed history of Cobbs, as held by the Bollings after 1753
--

The eastern 50% -- Cobbs>Burtons>Bollings in 1704
The western 50% -- Pericey>Baughs>Bollings in 1753

Thanks in advance,
Janet (Baugh) Hunter
