It is possible that the map referred to is one prepared during the 1930s during compilation of the Virginia Historic Inventory of pre-1860 structures. The maps, reports, and illustrations compiled for that project were recently placed on the Library's of Virginia's Digital Library site. Begin at the Library of Virginia's web site at http://www.lva.lib.va.us then click open the Digital Library site and find the Virginia Historic Inventory site.
