Not sure when Va. Counties began keeping official death records on
anybody, Henry, but if you are searching the earlier times, I have
stumbled across their births & death records right within the parish
registers of the plantation owners.

You can type (the name of the Parish ) within parentheses in the Search
or if that doesn't work, using Register as the keyword will bring them up
along with all kinds of stuff you weren't looking for.
