There was also a William  Faris in the Estate Sale of my second 
ggrandfather William Henry 1815 Botetourt  Co. VA.  From the book "Roanoke, Story of 
County and City" is shown William  Farish along with many of the Botetourt Co. 
names as having owned lands that  later became a part of Roanoke County.
