My ancestor Pleasant Cocke b. 1740 Henrico Co. VA, wife Elizabeth Fowler,
is listed In Historical Reg. of VA & Historical Register of Officers Continental Army
as Lt. Listed on Rolls 101 & 102 respectfully. How do I find which Units he belonged
to? Rolls 101 & 102 are on line but are not indexed nor in any order.
Pleasant Cocke was the son of Thomas Cocke who deeded land for the Court
House in Henrico Co. VA. This family in Vol. 2 of COCKERS & COUSINS by
Virginia Webb Cocke 1974. I can be found in the index. I was a recipient of the
Court case concerning the sale of the Court House.
