Thank you for the prompt reply. I am not familiar with the
volume you speak of. Of course I have heard of it.
There were other Cocke's with the given name of Pleasant.
Which does cause a conundrum. Hard to sort out.
Pleasant Cocke and wife Elizabeth had a dau Elizabeth who
married George Pyle. This is my lineage.
I note on Ancestry that my Pleasant Cocke is listed as dying
1801. No idea where this comes from.
I did a book awhile back on this George Pyle family.
Pleasant Cocke military record has peaked my interest.
As you can see I already SAR, would like to add
Pleasant Cocke as Rev War vet.
