On the 10th anniversary of Hurricane Katrina, there would presumably be little to no storm-related documents in the Library's collections to commemorate the event. Thanks to the Kaine Email Project at the Library of Virginia, however, we have a first-hand, unvarnished account of the earliest days of government response.
