Since Madison Co., VA is one of those "dark holes" in Virginia genealogy (54
messages this year on Madison-l), and also where one of my lines "dead
ends", I would appreciate the help of these illustrious groups.

If you have any Madison County records, etc., could you please check them
for anything on the following family:

Thomas Jefferson HUMPHREYS Born: 1809 (1870 Madison Co. census) at: Culpeper
Co., VA. Married to: Lucretia P. JONES (daughter of John Jones of Richmond)
on 29 Jan 1850, Died ?

FATHER: Thomas HUMPHREYS 'Captain'
MOTHER: Elizabeth Lewis RICHARDS
