Looking at a 1856 census of Iowa, Louisa Co. I find the occupation of a
gentleman listed as: ARLACTUS . He is 35 yrs of age and married and has
a family. I can not find ARLACTUS in any dictionary I have at home. Any
ideas what that could be?
