Hi folks

Just wanted to say thanks for all the support everyone has given to my
hysterical ramblings on New River Notes.
(http://www.ls.net/~newriver/nrv.htm). Just noticed that the counter has
crossed 800,000 visitors since the site was stated on Jan. 1, 1998. Also
want to give a special thanks to Jim Tarvid and LS net in Independence,
Virginia for hosting the site as a community service. Thanks for everyone
who have sent in items to be put online and encouragement to keep preserving
Virginia and North Carolina history. I appreciate it, all the kind words,
etc. that come along. I wish I had time to answer all the mail I get, but do
know that it is appreciated.

I wish I could tell you what the volume of information online is, but frankly
I have no idea.

Apologies to those that receive this message more than once.

Warm regards
Jeff Weaver
