Page 81, 103 Cumberland County Ct. orders 1779

John Davis made oath he was a soldier in the service in the year of 1758 and served 9 months under Captain Thomas Fleming in Bird's Regiment and claims land agreeable to Dinwiddie's proclamation and a late Act of the Assembly.

Could someone refer me to this act and those who received land. There were others in Cumberland County who also claimed land.

Thank you all,
June Cottrelll
