Walt, and others...there is a book, VIRGINIA COUSINS, about the Goode family in
Virginia.  Kern Memorial Library in downtown Norfolk has a copy in the Sergeant
Room; although there are some errors and the information is dated (book was
published around 1940 or so), it is still some good source material, with
extensive genealogical information on the Goode family; it is indexed.  BTW, I
live in Chesapeake now...so I will sign as
