There are some excellent digital maps at
http://geonames.usgs.gov/pls/gnispublic which can be enlarged and otherwise
manipulated. The site is also valuable because you can enter historical
names and come up with a location.

Subject: [VA-ROOTS] Fry & Jefferson Map
A reproduction of a French copy of the Fry and Jefferson map may be
purchased from Historic Urban Plans for $10.00. It isn't huge -- 15 1/4
inches by 20 1/4 inches -- but it is readable (I used it for the same
purpose you contemplate). And for that price I wouldn't be shy about making
notes on it.

The map you want is listed in their index as "Virginia and Maryland 1755"
