Am looking for 1850 census information for the family of William Peters &
Lydia
Kemplin, who were married 27 Mar 1841 in Floyd County, VA. Jess Edwards is
listed as surety. Jess Edwards, who was married 17 June 1826 in Franklin
County, VA to Elizabeth "Betsy" Peters, may be the brother-in-law of William
Peters.

This William Peters may have been married previously to Alice Troup on 12
December 1818 in Franklin County, VA. William Peters would be approximately
52 years of age in 1850.
