I have a somewhat similar question. As the result of what I consider to be
an absolute miracle, I now have in my possession the big family Bible that
belonged to my gg-grandmother (circa-1870). At present, it is simply stored
in a cardboard box (with a lid) that is just big enough to hold it. Is
there a recommended/better way to store a large leather-bound Bible like
this, while still making it readily accessible?

Thanks,

Bill
