While the 1800 census was taken, Virginia's is among the lost schedules. Some
counties have been re-created using tax lists and other records, Albemarle's
has not as of yet. To see the list of counties that have been re-created just
type  Virginia tax lists 1800  in your search window. The one that is free and
searchable is from rootsweb.
