I read with interest you message regarding Culpeper county.

As a researcher who has spent many years working in that county, the BIG problem that I find is.....once it gets into print it is taken as Gospel and if you try to correct an error it is nearly impossible.

We connect with the Slaughter line and there have been many errors made......

I have a big file on the Slaughters and Fields so I will look through for you to see if I can be of help.
