To help answer a question recently received from the UK re boxer Tom
Molineaux (1784-1818), I found the Virginia Historical Society webpage
(www.vahistorical.org/molineaux.htm). While I left a query for the
historical society at this site, I am advised it may take 3 weeks for a
librarian¹s response. I wonder if anyone on this list could point me to any
non-fiction work, or archive that might describe Tom Molineaux¹s travels to
London from Virginia.
For my own interests, does anyone know of a history or an archive that names
or discusses Tom Molineaux¹s slave-holding family or how he came to have the
Molineaux surname.
