Fellow VA-ROOTers:

Were the given names "Dean," "Zebulon," and/or "Zebedee" used
interchangeably in the late 1700s and early 1800s? I have a situation,
in Orange/Louisa/Fluvanna counties, in which a person called Dean in
some records may be the same person as someone called Zebulon in other
records, and the same person as someone called Zebedee (and even
Zebedeen) in other records. Any experiences with these names that
would help solve this puzzle?

Thank you!

Scott
