Greetings,
There is a newspaper for Halifax County Virginia, the name of this paper is
"The Gazette Virginian", and it can be found online.
The paper has new editions Mon, Wed, and Fri.

Near the bottom of the page you will find "Obituaries" click on it to see the
latest Obits.  There is also "Reader Services", clicking on it will take you
to "Archives ." In "Archives" you will find dates going as far back as 1997,
most contain Obits.
