Hi all,
 If anyone is descended from Edwin Harvey Clarke 1810-1865 and his wife Esther
Hughes Cunliffe 1819-1900, please contact me.

They married in Chesterfield County in November of 1833. They had 7 children,
first 4 boys in a row and then 3 girls in a row. All 4 of their sons were in
the Civil War.

Their eldest daughter, Esther Marian Clarke 1849-1918 would be my 2nd great-
grandmother. She married to Richard Holt Vaughan 1846-1925 February 24, 1870.
they had 7 children.

Edwin was a son of James Clarke, Jr. and Martha Harrison Murchie and Esther the
oldest child of Dr. John Hughes Cunliffe and Susannah Jones.

Edwin and Esther's children as follows:
1. Linden Sydnor Clarke 1834-1913, md. once, 3 children

2. Carroll Charles Clarke 1839-1900, md. once, no children

3. Shirley Hepsy Clarke(male) 1842-1891, md. once, no children

4. Ogden Hoffman Clarke 1843-1894, md. twice(possibly 3 times), at least 5
children

5. Esther Marian Clarke 1849-1918(mentioned above)

6. Glenda "Glendy" Burke Clarke 1853-1934, md. once, 7 children

7. Ann K. "Nannie" Clarke 1855-1920, md. twice, at least 6 children

I have more specific information on all of these people, spouses names,
children, etc.
