Hello, Listers!

Does anyone know a good source that I can read about the GILMER MAPS done in
1864? I have an excellent genealogy library in town, but am not sure where I
can learn more about these maps.

This summer, I will be in Richmond to do research. Does anyone know if
TOPOGRAPHIC maps of VA are available for purchase anywhere in Richmond?

Hope someone knows about these items!
