If anyone has access to the book "Albemarle County Marriages 1780-1853" by
Vogt & Kethley in the transcriptions b-(and then name) the ''b" would stand
for "Bond," and "w" would be "witness" and "d" -- would this be dower?  In
the case of bride, the father's name appears after the d.  Thank you in
advance for your patience and knowledge on this matter.
