And, Jno, in addition to others, any number of Appalachian men have had "Squire" as a forename, the reason likely having been that tales of Squire Boone (Dan's Daddy), etc., were well known and discussed. It is written that Squire Boone's name may have been a nickname, however those who know of the family believe the question may never be answered.
Genealogy without documentation is nothing.
