We at SCHEV do not automatically charge fees but reserve the right to do so if we are asked for more than basic retrieval of records. In those cases we would charge actual employee cost of hourly work plus any materials costs; this would be estimated ahead of time so the requestor could decide whether to proceed.



In my 18 months in this role we have never felt a need to charge, as most requests are simple to meet and we follow a general policy of transparency.

Good Morning

I am sure that this topic has been discussed before but I am going to throw it out there again.  would it be possible for those willing to share their FOIA policies and procedures my way?  We are meeting to discuss a revision to include calculation of fees.  I already have the standard information from code and FOIA Advisory Council.

Thank you for your assistance with this.  I have a short timeline (that’s how it always seems to go)
