General Schedule 22 Public Library records has been updated, approved by the Records Oversight Committee, and is now available online. Thank you to everyone who participated on the focus group and commented on the proposed draft.

This update greatly reduces the number of records series on the schedule, going from twenty-five to seven. We hope this simplifies the process of finding and selecting an appropriate series, but while adjusting to this change, as always, we encourage the use of the searchable database available at http://www.lva.virginia.gov/agencies/records/sched_local/search.asp

GS-22, as well as all General Schedules for localities, is available at http://www.lva.virginia.gov/agencies/records/sched_local/

Please pass this information on to those in your locality who work with records covered by GS-22.
