General Schedule 18 for Community Services Boards has been updated, approved by the Records Oversight Committee, and is now available online. Many thanks to those of you who participated in the initial focus group as well as the individuals kind enough to review and comment on the proposed draft.

This is a complete revision that takes the number of records series down from fourteen to six. While acclimating to these changes, localities are strongly encouraged to use the searchable database to locate appropriate series. The database is available at http://www.lva.virginia.gov/agencies/records/sched_local/search.asp

The General Schedules for localities are available at http://www.lva.virginia.gov/agencies/records/sched_local/

Please remember to share this information with those in your office or locality who work with records covered by GS-18.
