The Virginia Association of Government Archives and Records Administrators (VAGARA) is soliciting applications for this year's Connis O. Brown Scholarship.  The scholarship provides funds for conference attendance to individuals who desire to advance their knowledge of the records management profession and the principles of VAGARA.  Applications for consideration must be received by September 2, 2016.

To be eligible, an applicant must be a VAGARA member in good standing; have professional affiliation in the archives, records management, or information systems fields; and not have been awarded the scholarship in the previous two years. Financial need, professional development, and continuing education will be given priority in the award consideration.
