Hi Amy:

I looked into what other states are doing and Plats were permanent.

My suggestion to you regarding how to treat these documents is: 
Discontinue thinking of these documents as belonging to a particular 
subject matter, instead, see them for what they are: Correspondence, Extra 
Copies, Working Documents, Legal / Litigation, Etc., and refer to the 
appropriate schedule / series for disposal instructions.

The above viewpoint helped me.
