Hello,
I have responded to several disaster and recovery efforts up and down the east coast over the last 20 plus years.
Floods that got the bibles and hymnals wet, pipes bursting, fire in an office building. Depending on the location of the documents, sometimes we had to get the documents out of the building and on a refrigerated truck lowering the temperature to 68 degrees or less so mold would not grow. Later we got the documents freeze dried...
Please give me a call to get more details. I would be happy to discuss any projects.
Regards,

Good Morning Everyone
Our Agency would like to do a Records Continuity Exercise. I am writing to ask if any of you have experienced an actual records disaster and/or participated in a hard copy or physical records recovery. By sharing a real event our hope is that the participants will get more personally invested in records recovery planning. We will be using a water damage scenario. If you have any experience or information to share we would love to have it.
Thank you
Kathy
