Wow! That Carter Tree is a wonderful find, but very difficult to  
read.  Has anyone transcribed it?   I have a Charles Carter who  
married Mary Elizabeth Wood in the mid 1800's.  I think that is the   
only Carter. Of course their off spring are Carters.
