Goodness, Elizabeth . . .

Bill Clinton burned Richmond . . . as part of a conspiracy . . .
that included Lincoln's little boy, Tad . . . whoever killed the
Lord's better third . . . and the anti-tobacco lobby.

Hence the glorious and beatific opposition to Lincoln in
general . . . to the statues at Tredegar in particular . . . to
high taxes on cigarettes . . . and to Bill Clinton, the first black
President and personal friend of Lincoln, Sherman and . . . though
there's only slim evidence for this, Beast Butler.

Seriously, friends . . . It's a good thing we 21st-century
intellectuals monitor this list-serve . . . just to help keep the
story straight . . . so to speak.

I think Pat Robertson said it best . . . It's a thankless
task . . . keeping track of all 6,000 years of the planet's
history . . . while simultaneously monitoring the weather.

With my sincere sympathies,

Dan
