Subscribers to Va-Hist and Va-Roots will want to know that the first in
a short series of service interruptions of the Library of Virginia's
on-line catalog will take place on Wednesday, 22 August 2007. Upgrading
of the computers and software that support the on-line catalog will
begin then. We are informed that this first interruption should not last
longer than one day. Plan your research with this in mind.

We will try to give advance warnings of the planned interruptions as
they are scheduled.
