In my book, Realistic Visionary: A Portrait of George Washington, I  devoted
chapters to GW's relationship with his wife and with Sally Fairfax. I am  now
working on his complicated and controversial relationship with his mother,
Mary Ball Washington.

Does anyone have suggestions for leads, especially those not easily
accessible in the published work of Freeman, Flexner, etc.?
