Hello all - does anyone have any research or links available for artisans who were working in Richmond, Virginia from 1780 to 1900 as stone carvers for funerary monuments and grave stones?
I have two leads on academic papers but any help anyone could offer would be most welcome.
My research is focusing on Richmond's Shockoe Hill Cemetery in particular.
Many thanks!
