Is no one going to mention the most obvious Virginian of them all? The
ultimate super star of 18th century Virginia. Ole GW? The man who had two
horses shot out from under him and four bullet holes shot through his coat
during Braddocks defeat? The man who fell into the icy river on his way back
from Ohio and didn't even get frostbite! Come on. I've gotta vote for
George. He was a legend in his own time. And let's face it, if GW would have
refused to take over the Continental Army during the Revolutionary War just
what do you think all of these other Great and Most Important Virginians
would be? IMHO they'd be English subject that's what they'd be. ;-}
