A very interesting program on Oprah Winfrey's ancestry will be aired at 8:00
pm EST tomorrow night (Wednesday) on PBS. According to the Winchester Star,
Jane Ailes (a member of this List) did the research for the program that was
developed by H. Louis Gates, Jr. of Harvard University. It was stated in the
newspaper that neither the Gates nor Winfreys mentioned nor discussed
slavery in their families, and probable causes are given for the silence.
Sounds like this program will have some surprises that will be of interest
