I have been reasearching the legend of the Knights of the Golden Horseshoe
and Governor Alexander Spotswood.
The group was formed in 1716 after an expedition to discover a route across
the Blue Ridge Mountains. I discovered that the Knights were reorganized
in 1916. But there my trail seems to end.
Does anyone know anything about this modern group?
Are they still in existence?
I would appreciate any help.
Thank you
Dorothea
