Dear colleagues,

I received an email questioning my approval of a book notice from a list
member.  Honestly, I assumed folks would want to know about new books,
but I can see the list member's point about commercial use of the list.
Brent tells me that we have indeed restricted commerical announcements
for books in the past, although a few have slipped through. My
apologies.
