I spent most of the day Saturday attending the first annual Prince
William County History Forum which, except for the weather, was a
smashing success. More than 60 people turned out from schools, house
museums, the National Park Service, and other historical organizations
and people with curiosity. The program was varied and interesting, and
the results were wonderful.

I congratulate everybody in the county who took part and recommend to
every local history group that they consider doing something similar.
