The Special Collections Research Center at Swem Library at the College of
William and Mary owns the papers of the Woolfolk family who ran various
stagecoach lines in Virginia in the late 18th and early 19th centuries.  The
papers include financial records for the stagecoach lines, with the earliest
ledger beginning in 1788, I believe.

I haven't looked at these papers myself to see what's in them (and don't
have time to do so right now), but my understanding is that there is
information about routes, passengers, equipment, stops, etc.
