Herbert,

To be honest, you have not added a single grain of anything to the 
discussion other than registering your dismay that you are not afforded the 
voice of others, including Annette Gordon-Reed. Perhaps the reason your 
"words" were not included in the tv shows is because you were too strident 
in making your point, as you tend to be on this forum.

Your actual point is that we don't know for sure if the father of the 
children was Thomas Jefferson, or not.

That does not mean that he was NOT the father, it just means that the 
evidence is not absolute. If people choose to accept the available evidence 
as conclusive that TJ did the deed, that is their choice. No amount of your 
ranting and raving is going to change the minds of those who believe that 
slavery was so immoral that the likelihood of another immoral act is going 
to be more true than not.
