Terrence Malick has re-edited--and shortened--his film "The New World,"
and The New York Times has a very positive review of it today online at
http://movies2.nytimes.com/2006/01/20/movies/20worl.html   As of this
weekend, the new (and presumably final) version of the film opens
across the country.
