Everyone,

VCU’s Year of Freedom program is proud to announce that Dr. John Coski, historian at the Museum of the Confederacy and author of The Confederate Battle Flag: America’s Most Embattled Emblem, will speak at our next brown-bag lunch event.

His topic is “The Confederate Battle Flag: A Short History of a Controversial Symbol.”

Dr. Coski will speak at the Larrick Center, Room Court End A, at the MCV Campus (http://www.maps.vcu.edu/mcv/larrickcenter/ will get you parked and present). Food is available for purchase at the Larrick Center.

Please join us on Wednesday, February 6, 2013, at noon. Free and open to the public.

Best,

John
