Gregory J. W. Urwin, professor of history, will present "Cornwallis and the Slaves of Virginia:  A New Look at the Yorktown Campaign" at 5:30 P.M., Friday, September 30, 2005, at the American Philosophical Society's Benjamin Franklin Hall, 427 Chestnut, in Philadelphia.  Urwin's presentation is free and open to the public, and a reception with refreshments will be held at the rear of the auditorium.  Friday's event is part of the APS Friends of the Library lecture series.
